Susanne Kuzma, born on June 3, 1966 in Vienna, has been attending the Jugend am Werk art group since 1998. Her work clearly shows a pronounced affinity for shapes and colors. Her favorite material is colored pencil on paper, whereby the images are built up in a concentrated manner from color square to color square. She gets her brilliant forms by looking at and studying photographs. Dominant themes in her works are landscapes, animals and superficial, ornamental, strongly colored patterns. The harmonic order is always broken by “mistakes” and opens up an exciting new dimension.
