I am a finder. Translator. I layer, superimpose, destroy, and reinvent. Inner landscapes and color spaces grow in the process. Pigments in ultramarine, titanium white, or stone gray, overlaid with tissue paper, traversed by powerful lines or delicate webs – these are the means I use to track down my landscapes. Ash serves as a medium to create an exciting base. It enhances the power of the color. It is the base, and pigments are the crowning glory.
