Elisabeth Von Samsonow lives and works in Vienna and Hadres (Lower Austria). Artist and philosopher, works with performance, sculpture, video and painting. She was a guest student in the class of Daniel Spoerri at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. Since 1996 she is professor at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Her most recent projects were a presentation on the occasion of the Biennale Venezia 2019 “The Parents’ Bedroom Show”, an installation at the Leopold Museum Vienna, a contribution to the exhibition SEX at Taxispalais Kunsthalle Tirol and the solo exhibition TRANSPLANTS. In 2020 she was to participate in the show 6UL, Grassi Museum Leipzig, which is only accessible as a catalog due to the lockdown.
